On 9–10 May, the international “No Stress Conference 2026” took place at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, bringing veterinary students and practitioners from several countries to Tartu. Organised by students, the conference focused on animal welfare and practical clinical approaches, offering participants both theoretical knowledge and skills applicable in everyday practice.
The two-day programme included lectures, hands-on workshops and student research presentations. Speakers addressed ways to reduce animal stress in clinical settings, modern approaches to diagnostics and treatment, and best practices in animal handling. The exchange of experiences among participants from different countries created a diverse discussion environment and supported international collaboration.
The conference was organised by veterinary students of the Estonian University of Life Sciences in cooperation with four student organisations: EVÜS, Hyraco, IVSA Estonia and Suolet Ry. The event highlighted the role of students in building international professional networks.
