From dining spots and tourism services to other essential information, everything you need for visiting Tartu is available on our official tourism page at www.visittartu.com.

Additionally, the Tartu Christmas City awaits you in the city centre, offering a delightful festive experience. The celebrations on Town Hall Square continue well into January, featuring charming pavilions, a warming bonfire, and cosy cafés. In the Christmas City, you can take your time soaking up the atmosphere or enjoy various events. Every Sunday, an Advent candle is lit on the square, accompanied by a light show, and the programme offers something new to discover almost daily. Check out what’s happening at the Tartu Christmas Village on the website tartukorraldab.ee.

The festive season in Tartu has even more to offer – holiday concerts, a snow bar, skiing fun, sauna rituals, Christmas flavours, and new exhibitions. Keep an eye on December’s events through the Tartu and South Estonia Culture Calendar kultuuriaken.ee.

Wishing you a joyful Christmas and a happy New Year!
