On 12 June, organised by the Estonian Convention Bureau, Tartu’s and Tallinn’s Conference Ambassadors took a joint trip to the summer capital, Pärnu, to explore its conference hosting opportunities. There was great interest in Pärnu’s conference venues – out of 40 participants, 30 were conference organisers from Tartu.
As an introduction, Annika Raadik, Pärnu’s tourism development manager, and Margus Randmäe, CEO of Destination Pärnu, spoke about the city’s charm as a conference destination, its venues and their capacities, and the experiences offered by local businesses to support conference visits. Participants visited Hestia Hotel Strand, Rannahotell, Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa, Hedon Spa & Hotel and Wasa Resort.
Additionally, the members had the chance to explore the local wine selection and event hosting opportunities at Allikukivi Wine Manor in Pärnu County.
