Long live sport and biathlon!

This week, all of Southern Estonia is pulsing to the rhythm of biathlon! Naturally, Tartu is cheering for the athletes as well and won’t be missing out on the excitement.

The official viewing venue in Tartu for the BMW IBU Otepää World Cup stage is Kolm Tilli restaurant, where world street-food–inspired flavours meet a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From Thursday to Sunday (12–15 March), visitors can enjoy live broadcasts of all World Cup races with Estonian commentary, soak up the true sporting buzz, and take advantage of special offers created especially for this weekend.

But the Biathlon World Cup stage doesn’t end at the stadium. On Saturday evening (14 March), the official afterparty will take place at Loomelava in Tartu. Taking the stage is NOËP, who—rumour has it—is already training for the next Olympics instead of Eurovision. More information is available on Facebook, and tickets are on sale via Piletilevi.

Sports fans can also enjoy special offers at Tartu’s museums by presenting their World Cup ticket or wristband. At the Estonian National Museum and the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum, a 20% discount applies to full and family tickets from 4–22 March. The Tartu City Museum can be visited at a reduced price until the end of the competition week (until 15 March).
