IE University and the UN World Tourism Organization have launched the Tourism Online Academy, which offers high-quality courses for enhancing knowledge and skills in the tourism sector. The e-academy is a web-based learning platform with courses focusing on essential topics in the tourism industry, such as globalization, digitalization, and sustainability.
The e-academy offers a total of 38 courses in various languages, currently with over 30,000 learners from around the world.
To find a suitable course, interested individuals can fill out a survey questionnaire. The offerings include both free and paid courses. It is also worth noting that in some cases, completing the online training is free, but a certain fee must be paid if a certificate is desired.
The courses are provided by 17 partners, including Luzern University HSLU, SHL University, Booking.com, CITY College University of York Europe, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and IE University.
