Llegar a Tartu es fácil
Gracias a los vuelos regulares entre Tartu y Helsinki, la ciudad está conectada con casi un centenar de destinos internacionales. También se puede llegar cómodamente desde Tallin, la capital de Estonia, o desde Riga, la capital de Letonia, en tren o autobús. Una vez en Tartu, descubrirás una ciudad compacta y fácil de recorrer, donde los principales lugares de interés, restaurantes, museos y zonas verdes se encuentran a poca distancia unos de otros.

The two-day Tartu City Day celebrations have begun! 🎉
On 28 June, visitors can enjoy a creative and community program featuring a creative street, as well as Lemonade Day, celebrating the 90th anniversary of lemonade. On 29 June, Tartu City Day continues with a rich cultural program and the festive gala concert “Tartu maailmakaardil” (Tartu on the World Map).
All events are free for everyone.

Happy Estonian Flag Day! 💙🖤🤍 One of Estonia`s most treasured national symbols is waiting to be discovered in Tartu.
🇪🇪 The very first blue-black-white flag, sewn in 1884 and later adopted as Estonia`s national flag, is on display at the Estonian National Museum. Its story has seen student traditions, the birth of a nation, years spent hidden during the Soviet occupation, and its eventual return to the public.
As is tradition, admission to the museum`s permanent exhibition "Encounters" is free on Estonian Flag Day.
Outside the museum, by the main entrance, flies Colours of Freedom (Vabaduse värvid), an 18-metre-long Estonian flag made up of 1,136 photographs in Estonia`s national colours.
If you`re in Tartu, today is the perfect day to visit and see a piece of Estonian history up close 💙

Summer Saturdays in Tartu ☀️ Guided walking tours invite both visitors and locals to discover the city through stories, hidden corners and fresh perspectives.
Tours take place every Saturday from June until the end of August:
🇪🇪 12 PM in Estonian
🇬🇧 2 PM in English
📍 Starting point: the information point next to Tartu Town Hall
⏰ Duration: around 1 hour

Every guide brings their own favourite stories and viewpoint to the tour, making each walk a little different 🧡
The tours are guided by the guides of the Tartu Guides Association.

"Look, they’re smooching!" came a giggly little voice near the Kissing Students fountain. Kids have the funniest observations 🤭
🎥 We handed a camera to one five-year-old explorer in Tartu Old Town and waited to see what would happen.
This time, there were only 30 minutes for exploring Tartu. Turns out that’s enough time to jump around approximately 257 times, notice a million fascinating little details and turn the Old Town into one proper adventure. But there was still so much left to discover!
The result: Tartu was definitely approved ✔️ Clearly, we’ll just have to come back for more adventures.
