Visit Tartu is part of the South Estonia Tourism Cluster

Our legal entity, the Tartu County Tourism Foundation (SA Tartumaa Turism), was established by the City of Tartu and the Association of Municipalities of Tartu County in 1999. Its purpose is to coordinate tourism development work in the city and county of Tartu, including marketing the region, developing tourism products, enhancing the region’s image, and collecting, analyzing, and distributing tourism-related information. We operate under the brand name Visit Tartu. In 2021 the South Estonia Tourism Cluster was established within the foundation and in 2023, all regional tourism workers were unified under this cluster. The collaboration involves the City and County of Tartu, as well as the counties of Põlva and Võru and the municipalities of Jõgeva, Mustvee, Otepää and Valga.
