On 27th November, members of the Tartu Conference Ambassadors’ Club met at the Tartu City Museum for an inspiring afternoon at the exhibition ‘Our Tartu’.

The exhibition highlights Tartu’s unique character and its neighbourhoods through local residents’ stories, showing how these areas shape the city’s sense of community. The visit revealed what makes Tartu special — a city where different neighbourhoods come together as one.

Curators Maria Usk and Robert Varik guided the group through the exhibition, sharing the background of its creation and interesting details about the neighbourhoods. Risto Lehiste, Director of the Tartu City Museum, introduced the museum as a venue for events, offering practical tips and examples from previous conferences. His presentation showed how the museum can serve as a unique and memorable location for gatherings.

The afternoon left participants with a warm impression of Tartu, thanks to the personal stories and welcoming atmosphere. The experience reflected the essence of the city, something that conference guests can also look forward to.
