Seto Winter Festival at Tartu's Christmas City

Seto leelo choirs and several leelo singers from Setomaa perform at the Seto Winter Festival in Tartu. During the celebration, you can hear traditional musical instruments and watch typical Seto dances.

In Setomaa, Christmas and the birth of Christ are celebrated in January and are called Talsi. The customs of the Talsi holidays are rich and differ significantly from Estonian Christmas celebrations.

With the Seto Winter Festival, we will solemnly end the holiday season and celebrate the final day of Tartu's Christmas City.
